J produced Michael Holigan’s Your New House, a weekly half-hour home building, buying and remodeling series for first-run syndication, airing on 148 U.S. local broadcast stations in 1995-1996. The show expanded to one-hour daily episodes on The Discovery Channel for its 1998-99 seasons, and its half-hour syndicated episodes were repeated on HGTV over multiple seasons.
J was Senior Producer at SeeItWork.com in the early 2000s, shooting and editing demos of how computers and related peripherals and other hi-tech gadgets work, and coordinating the efforts of 12 other one-man-band producers. SeeItWork.com was a venture of SkyTV in Dallas, a little ahead of the available bandwidth of its time.
J was a video editor, associate account executive, and on-air talent development consultant for Audience, Research & Development in Dallas, Texas, 1985-1995, working with CBS News and the CBS owned-and-operated stations, as well as 30 other local TV news stations:

J began writing and producing for television as a reporter, anchor and newscast producer for KSWO-TV/ABC in his hometown of Lawton, Oklahoma. It was while growing up in Lawton that he enterprised his first producing gig - writing and directing his 5th and 6th grade plays at John Adams Elementary.
J holds a BS in Radio-TV-Film from the University of Texas at Austin and currently lives in Denver, Colorado with his partner, David Howard.
